Week in Short

Well...this week was crazy. It was also the beginning of our school play in which I got a small part. I expect the time I spend online is going to have to go down a lot over the next three months.

  • Men Who Stare at Goats -- my mom and I both expected this movie to be ROFL-funny, but it wasn't anything like we thought it would be. 6.5/10

I loved the Princess and the Frog much better than Tangled. But I have a question for you since you are a guy. Uh, why does the current Disney leading ladies seem to get bums for their Prince? How does that make a guy feel? In tangled Rapunzel socks the guy with a frying pan whenever he is disagreeable, and her prince is a thief :-D What does a princess have to do these days to get a gorgeous, dashing prince that she doesn't have to beat up in order to get him to be a man?

Thanks everyone!

LM--

1. I'm a girl. ;)
2. I haven't actually seen Tangled yet.
3. Perhaps Disney has yet to find a happy medium between the Sleeping Beauty-style girl that just waits by for her prince to come and the strong female protagonist that can empower young women.
