RTW: Best Book of July

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

This Week's Topic:
What was the best book you read in July?

The best reread was, of course...
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I spent a large portion of July rereading this book in preparation for the movie. This was the third time I've read it, the first time I've read it since I started writing seriously, and I'm happy to say that it has not lost it's magic. This book is still one of my favorites of all time.

And yes, I cried.

The best book I read for the first time was...
Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan
I love this book with a passion. It's actually overdue at the library by about a week and I don't want to take it back. You can read my full review of it here.

What was the best book you read this month? Have you ever loved a book so much you didn't want to take it back to the library?

Comments

I've heard great things about Boy Meets Boy, but I've never read it. I'm going to add it to my TBR pile now. Thanks for the recommendation!

My best reread was HP7 too, but my favorite regular read this month was The Outsiders. And I didn't want to take it back to the library so I bought it and now I'm rereading it again. :)

I also recommend Will Grayson, Will Grayson by David Levithan and John Green. It's AMAZING.

Brittany - I haven't read The Outsiders since seventh grade. It's one of the few school assigned books I still love and need to read again. :)
Gah, I really need to reread all of HP.
